چکیده

Background: Premenopausal is a period that women will experience before heading to the menopause phase in age range of 4 5-55 years. In premenopausal it characterized by instability hormone estrogen which affect lipid metabolism closely related increase abdominal fat known as or central obesity . The results hormonal changes levels lipids body such TG and LDL-Chol blood. Purpose(s): This study aims determine whether there relationship between Waist Circumference (Abdomen) Triglyceride Low Density Lipoprotein-Cholesterol (LDL-C) Levels Women. Methods: used an analytical correlative method with cross-sectional approach. involved 40 research subjects who met criteria. Results: pearson correlation test analysis waist circle women, p value = 0.351 0.15 were obtained. circumference (abdomen) LDL- Chol 0.164 0.224 was Conclusion: There no Women. Keywords: Premenopause, Circumference, Lipid, Triglycerides, Lipoprotein

a 90 minute soccer match decreases triglyceride and low density lipoprotein but not high-density lipoprotein and cholesterol levels

background: the association between the lipid profiles level and the incidence and severity of coronary heart disease (chd) is very pronounced in epidemiological studies, and an inverse relation between physical fitness and the incidence of coronary heart disease has been observed in many studies. the aim of this study was to investigate the impact of a soccer match on lipid parameters of profe...

Triglyceride to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholestrol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratios are predictors of cardiovascular risk in Iranian adults: Evidence from a population-based cross-sectional study

Background: The superiority of TG/HDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C ratios in predicting  CVD risk is a matter of debates. Thus, the objective of this study was to compare TG/HDL-C and LDL-C to HDL-C ratios in predicting the risk of CVD events. Methods: In a population-based cross-sectional study, 567 representative participants aged 40 years or older were entered in the study in Babol, North of Iran. The...

Postheparin plasma triglyceride lipases. Relationships with very low density lipoprotein triglyceride and high density lipoprotein2 cholesterol.

Hepatic triglyceride (HTGL) and lipoprotein lipase (LPL) probably have major roles in the removal of triglyceride from triglyceride-rich lipoprotein and in the formation of high density lipoprotein (HDL). However, no population-based study of their activity and relationship to lipoprotein lipid levels has been reported. To determine these relationships, we recalled 33 men and 17 women of a rand...

relationship between triglyceride and cholesterol levels and periodontal status

background and aim: recently some evidence has been presented that periodontal disease is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. the hypothesis of this study is that periodontitis may be associated with elevated blood lipid levels, a known risk factor for atherosclerotic disease. methods & materials: the levels of plasma lipids was measured in 40 subjects with chronic peri...
